Types of Scuba Diving Available
Scuba diving is well known for people having keen interest in diving underwater. The name SCUBA is derived from the acronym Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. The acronym scuba was later used as a general English word by people. Scuba diving is basically done to explore the underwater adventure and to exploit the resources lying beneath oceans. Major scuba diving types:
Commercial diving or professional diving:
Commercial scuba dive is done to research the underwater world and to make some profit out of it. Usually they will try to study about the underwater properties and will effectively utilize for some commercial purpose like constructing some structures inside water, platforms for oil extraction, taking part in some salvage operations, conduction of many underwater surveys, etc.
Military scuba diving:
Military scuba diving is exactly the same as the commercial scuba diving also including some of the military works like taking part in surveillances underwater, clearing of mines underwater and involving in any research related to military field. It is to be noted that all the advancement in the equipments used underwater and medicines during dives are found only because of the scientists and military divers.
Technical scuba diving:
Technical scuba diving is mainly done to explore all the features of marine world. The technical scuba divers move very deep into the oceans where people have never gone before. This is just like an advanced recreational diving with much more training and advanced equipments.
Recreational scuba diving:
Recreational scuba diving is carried out to bring some thrill and fun from the underwater world. People at their free times or during their vacations take a dive in oceans simply for relaxation purpose. Anyone can take part in this recreational scuba diving.
